Phase III - “Implementation”
One of our overall goals is to provide business consulting services of the highest professional standards to our Clients. We define the term “business consulting” to mean both providing recommendations for improving a business’s operations and efficiencies, and delivering active client support in implementing the recommendations. The objective of the Implementation is to reconcile the As Is Model with the To Be Model and create a path forward that takes the Client from the current state to the business model represented in the To Be Model.
We have found that a strategic To Be Model plan alone usually does not meet all of the Client’s needs in launching Profit Improvement Programs. Throughout the consulting engagement, our consultants met with the Owner and Chief Executive Officer to review the progress of the Profit Improvement Program recommendations. These planning sessions allow our consultants and Clients to maintain a focused strategy toward accomplishing the main objective: improving the long-term profitability potential for the Company.
In response to the need for effective support, the consultant creates an Implementation Plan. The plan is specifically tailored for the Client and provides a critical path for effectively initiating and sustaining the identified goals. The critical path addresses specific goals and objectives, priorities, required actions, assigned deadlines and designations of personal responsibilities. These factors are then quantified as concepts of accountability and benchmarks of accomplishment. Further, a corresponding financial plan that defines the impact of the initiative and provides an effective tracking report is developed.
